-
His work encompasses many interests and domains, driven by an inquiring intellect and deep passion.
This talk is about the idea of relating senses to objects and spaces towards consciousness allowing greater insights into art, object, form and space. This notion follows the gesture of sketching, of laying and repeating lines to bring about a deeper appreciation of those lines, and of the object/subject being drawn.
This is a bowl design/ installation by him. It is a very basic unpretentious shape design. This bowl design is handmade with recycle paper. It brings different and interesting feelings from its simple outlook.
This is two art pieces drawn by him. Although this two art seem like no relation between them, but if you looking for the lines on both art, you will find out both of them contain four obvious and similar lines.
He also trying to understand surface and materials with feeling.
From this art piece, he want to express the depth and dimension of a space.
The understanding of objects and spaces are furthered through this practice of appreciation rather than the conflicting interpretations inherent within them.
Focusing primarily on the intellectual functions of objects and visual expressions of colour and texture, to assist in the orchestration of objects and spaces, which are only a natural reaction to architects intent.
MSAB Museum
Location: Pekan, Pahang
When he design this museum, he work in senses and essence. He use the space naturally and purely to make it simple but interesting. He also put in many installation art that can bring the real snese of the story.
For the wall, he uses his texture art as the background of this museum. This art piece usually act as a backdrop in this museum.
Silalima
Location: Alor Akar, Kuantan
This building contains a pond that can reflect the pureness and beauty of the building. There are many openings that allow the natural light come in. The spaces of this building are very simple but very interesting.
Lastly, I realised that art can affect someone thinking and design in architecture.
